Maison Francaise: Round Two. Earlier entry: Oct. 4, 2012.
Can't forgo house-baked bread. Can't say no to butter. Both of them together: doubly irresistible.
Provencal-style stuffed zucchini, eggplant & tomato with rucola pesto. Springtime on a platter.
Crispy goat cheese fritters with salad, nuts, fruits & honey dressing. Pretty light, easy to eat.
Here comes heartier fare: a creamy stew of duck & veggies in raspberry sauce.
Pillow-soft ravioli, stuffed with European lobster meat & spinach in bouillabaisse sauce.
Maison Francaise's pistachio ice cream is house-made, served on a tangy bed of berries.
Banana flambe, ripe for a sweet conclusion. Can be part of a RM125++ three-course set dinner.
Maison Francaise serves nice wine-based cocktails for about RM30 a glass.
Kir Provencal (pink grapefruit, rose), Kir Breton (creme de cassis, cedar) & more.
This weekend, Sunday BBQ brunches will begin. Possibly RM180++ with a free-flow of wine.
