The highlight here is bubur berlauk _ porridge with a vast array of side dishes.
The porridge is smooth and piping hot, but completely bland on its own.
Salted duck egg. Deliciously creamy. I could have eaten a dozen of these.
Some sort of beef rendang. Forgettable. Think it was more sweet than spicy.
Sotong kering. A bit too salty for our liking. Kinda like ikan bilis.
Beef lungs. Alas, a taste that we haven't quite acquired (yet).
