T Forty Two has established a foothold at another corner of the Klang Valley, mounting its third outlet at The Intermark for customers in the city center.
For a nutritionally balanced meal, the Vietnamese chicken baguette is an easy pick, featuring grilled chicken breast with a tinge of foie gras pate, pickled onions, crisp carrots, cucumber, coriander & red chillies. Our favorite part of this platter: a side salad of raw leaves, nuts & seeds. Carbs, protein, fat, vitamins, minerals, fiber & water _ everything's here.
Less healthy but also tasty: an almond teacake. Marvelously moist, brilliantly buttery.
Rose macaron with raspberry jelly & lychee cream. A certified crowd-pleaser.
Tea for two, literally: South African Rooibos Red Fancy Fruit, a bush tea with a honeyed fragrance. Or as the menu describes it so eloquently, "a bright, summery blend that sings of roses, sunflowers & tangy fruit flavors."
From macarons to potato tarts, there's still much more to feast on.
Alas, alcohol is not available here so far. But it will be soon, we hope!
