Dip N Dip @ Telawi

Chocoholics now have a cafe in Bangsar to call their own: Dip N Dip delivers cocoa decadence that might leave dessert lovers swooning.

Chocolate fountains form the centerpiece of Kuala Lumpur's first Dip N Dip, a franchise that started in Damascus in 2009 before spreading to Amman and Kuwait City. Further branches are expected to open in Hong Kong, Macau and Taipei this year.

Belgian chocolate is enlisted to create treats like crepes covered with a triple threat of milk, dark and white chocolate (RM16). Sumptuously warm and creamy.

Choc 'pizza': a brownie-cheesecake base topped with bananas, kiwi fruit and dark choc (RM20). The menu is wide: waffles to fondants, muffins to mousse, profiteroles and eclairs to ice cream, as well as 'dip sticks' of fruits and marshmallows for fondue fans.

Pancake mini-tower. Customers who require savory food will be out of luck here; no sandwiches, no salads, no soups, no pasta and meat.

Ice-blended 'Freezy,' filled with tiny bits of Belgian chocolate.

Hot white chocolate, rich enough for two to share.

Dip N Dip,
Jalan Telawi 3, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
