A low-profile outlet at Jaya One, but its wide-ranging menu makes it worth a visit.
Lamb meatballs in Guinness-infused sauce. Hearty and tender, but only enjoyable if you're game for gamy meat and can bear the potent taste of beer.
Giant squid stuffed with anchovies, garlic, rosemary & tomato, served with mushroom risotto. The squid was flavour-packed and not rubbery at all, but the risotto was bland.
Roasted quail with sage leaves. Well-marinated, juicy and less bony than expected.
Sea bass baked with bread crust, served with alfalfa sprouts & sauteed potatoes. Fresh-tasting, succulent fish; the crust provided an interesting texture, though the alfalfa seemed like a pointless addition.
Haagen Dazs strawberry sorbet with champagne. A fun concoction, full of fizz.
Apple pie with strawberry gelato. Mediocre pastry that we should have skipped.
Mojito & Yellow Bird cocktails.
Redhill Chardonnay & Cabernet Sauvignon (Australia).
Muse,
Jaya One.
